Every year millions of people make a New Year's Resolution to lose weight, get fit, stick to their diet. Talk to anyone who belongs to a health club (or gym) or works at a health club (or gym) and they will tell you that in January the health club (or gym) is packed with people, and by February attendance is back to normal.
So that's why I couldn't find a free treadmill this morning.
Sadly, the New Year's Resolution has become a sad joke to most people, because most people do not know a single person who has stuck to their resolution. If you are one of the January gym-goers, take a look at yourself, not physically, but mentally and emotionally. Are you making a resolution because you feel that you should, or have you REALLY made a decision to do what it takes to accomplish your goal? If so, congratulations!
You are one of the few.
